My journey in Australia, which began in January 2013, was a transformative experience. For 15 weeks, I studied English for Academic Purposes at the renowned Browns English Language School, located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I am proud to have achieved the title of top student at the school during my time there.In addition to my studies, I immersed myself deeply in Australian culture by working in various sectors, from restaurants to a hostel, and even at sporting events such as horse races and rugby games. These experiences provided me with the unique opportunity to practice my English in varied contexts and with different regional accents.My stay in Australia not only enhanced my language skills but also enriched my cultural perspective, making me more adaptable and multicultural in my approach to work and life.
In my second month in Australia, I secured a unique opportunity by obtaining a scholarship to study the Certificate IV in Digital Media Technologies at the renowned Australian College of Information Technology. This not only expanded my educational horizons but also extended my visa for another year, allowing me to further immerse myself in Australian culture and education.My journey at ACIT began when I decided to submit my resume to the school, hoping to find opportunities to expand my experience. Surprisingly, the school's owner contacted me, impressed with my background and skills. He offered me the scholarship, along with the opportunity to work at the school, performing maintenance on the college's website and translating it into Portuguese.My time at ACIT was an invaluable experience, combining academic learning and professional experience in an internationally recognized environment.
